Aprit Anak Mayok was born on 24 September 1954  at Kampung Pengkalan Madang, Limbang, Sarawak.  He is better known as Tikom among his family and relatives. When he accepted Islam in 1977 he adopted the name Sukri Bin Abdullah. In his writing he prefers to use SANETO as his pseudonym. The pseudonym is a combination of two words "SAN" and "ETO". SAN is  an affectionate way among the Bisaya man call their friends and ETO was his great grand father's name who was of a Chinese origin married to a Bisaya woman. Up to date has completed writing a book manuscripts entitled, "An Interview with The Last People of The Lost Kingdom"and he has released an album (CD-Audio) entitled, "Live & Unplugged d Sarayo: Traditional & Contemporary Bisaya Songs
